Continuing Education: Mediation Training


Mediation Training

Interested in meditation training to become better equipped to walk justice and pace into the world? Ever felt like you wanted to work towards certification as a mediator? Seattle University Law School is providing full time mediation training for students and the general public.

This 40-hour intensive is designed to teach the skills needed to become a facilitative mediator. This model uses the interest-based approach common in community dispute resolution. The facilitative model will give you the foundation needed to handle conflicts between individuals, businesses, workplaces and a variety of interpersonal situations. The training meets the classroom requirement for certification through the Washington Mediation Association.

August 17-18 & August 23-25  |  $800, early bird registration before 8/7
Clock Hours paid at time of class

Continuing Education Credits for Licensed Professionals:

    37.5 CLEs for Attorneys (1.75 in Ethics)
    37.5 Clock Hours for Educators ($75 add’l fee paid to PSED)
    37.5 CEUs for Mental Health Professionals
    4 credits through Western Washington University ($200 add’l fee paid to WWU)
    $25 additional fee paid to the DRC for processing & reporting CLEs and CEUs
